Book description:
At last, Miranda is the life of the party: all she had to do was die. Elevated and adopted by none other than the reigning King of the Mantle of Dracul, Miranda goes from high-school theater wannabe to glamorous royal fiend overnight.

Meanwhile, her reckless and adoring guardian angel, Zachary, demoted to human guise as the princess’s personal assistant, has his work cut out for him trying to save his girl’s soul and plan the Master’s fast-approaching Death Day gala.

Eternal by
Cynthia Leitich Smith
So, when I heard that there was another vampire book out, I'll admit I rolled my eyes. Because, lately, it seems that everyone who has ever written a book to do with vampires is getting published. I am also a diehard Twilight fan, but Eternal was recommended to me so I thought I would give it a shot.
I was so wrong! This book is about a guardian angel that gets thrown out of heaven because he broke a rule, a girl that gets turned into vampire, and did I mention that the angel is in love with the vampire?
The book is narrated by both of the main characters, and will keep you on the edge of your seat. It's much darker and more mysterious than Twilight but just as romantic.
There is a companion book, which you don't have to read to enjoy this book, it's called Tantalize. But, you will need to read both of these to enjoy her next book coming out this year, called Blessed.
We had a great showing for our Worldwake Launch Party! Thanks to all who came out to play! Looking forward to our next event!
