Did you know that we offer a Homebound Service?

What is the Homebound Program? The Program provides delivery of library materials free of charge to participating residents of the Cobleskill-Richmondville School District, our chartered area of service, who are physically unable to visit The Community Library.

Who qualifies as a participant? Anyone can sign up to participate, regardless of age, who is permanently or temporarily physically disabled and cannot come to the library to borrow library material.

How does one sign up? One needs to fill out the patron registration form to obtain a library card which will be kept at the library, including a statement certifying that they cannot physically come to the library, and a preference form indicating favorite authors, or types of boooks or library material they would like to borrow to help in selection.

Need more information? Just call , we would be happy to answer  your questions.
